Finding extra storage space is a constant challenge when caravanning, and often your storage skills are put to the test when packing for a road trip.
Transform your storage woes with a few creative tips and as well as taking into account overall caravan design, whilst also looking for existing space in places you may never have considered. The first rule of thumb to adopt when preparing your caravan space is to limit yourself to packing only essential clothes, food and entertainment items. You can always purchase more fresh food, magazines, books and DVDs as your trip progresses.
A pop-out annex is a great way to increase space in your caravan, and also separates sleeping quarters from the living area. Look out for caravans with a pop-up roof, to increase head height and create an overall spacious feeling. Be mindful that pop-top caravans may not always include a full set of overhead cupboards.
