Jayco Camper Trailer

Category: Caravanning

At first glimpse, a camper trailer might seem too compact for a family to consider for their first foray into mobile holidays.

Yet when opened up, camper trailers are surprisingly efficient and expansive with many sleeping-berth configurations. The key design feature in most Jayco camper trailer models is that beds extend outside the vehicle’s superstructure. There are many Jayco models adventurers can choose from.

Standard and Outback models are built on the high-tech, strong hot-dipped, galvanized-millennium chassis. Outbacks have the added strength of ALKO outback leaf springs, shock absorbers with guards and larger main chassis members with an underslung axle for improved ground clearance. The sleek exterior look obtained by the high-gloss, gel-coat finish to the fibreglass walls invites you to open up the camper to discover what’s on the interior. And inside, it is packed with standard features including:

  • SMEV four-burner gas griller with one 240 V element, 12 V ignition and flame-failure device
  • Dometic ZRM 2350 three-way fridge
  • 12 V power system with battery charger that supports a 12 V lighting system including bed lights
  • Euro-styled furniture with powder-coated aluminium seat frames
  • Child safety rail on rear beds
