When summer rolls around, many Australians take their caravans to beachside locations, to soak up the warm weather and revel in the beautiful sea breeze.
But on those really sticky days when there’s no breeze in sight, one of the best things that you can do is to install an indoor fan to create a much-needed airflow in the still, summer months.
Dashboard fans are a great alternative to airconditioning, especially if you are planning on driving for longer distances. Although it is tempting to turn your airconditioning onto its coldest setting, this will add to your fuel consumption. For those who frequently use a laptop whilst caravanning, a USB fan can be plugged into your computer and cool you down. Installing flyscreens on the windows can allow you to sleep with the windows open, or you could even lay a swag under a caravan annex when the temperature soars.
