It can sometimes be easy to take for granted all of the things the human body can accomplish with the help of a little practice and perseverance.
A visual spectacular that features 50 highly trained artists and performers pushing their bodies to its physical limits, the Chinese Acrobatic Spectacular has performed for, and impressed, audiences all over the world.
Performing in Brisbane just after the Chinese New Year celebrations, the Chinese Acrobatic Spectacular performance is an opportunity to experience a slice of China’s culture. The performance is by the Guangzhou Soldier Acrobatic Troupe, who also performed as part of the opening ceremony for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
The troupe was founded in 1951 and embodies the art of Chinese acrobatics.
The troupe will be performing at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) for one show only on 7 February. Visit the QPAC website for more information and to purchase tickets.
