After a successful international tour, Treturns to Australia, and is set to infuse QPAC with an electric blend of folk, traditional, modern, Western and Indian performance art.
The show has been a hit on the international circuit, including highly praised performances in London, Paris, Vienna and Barcelona. The stage performance is an energetic display of Bollywood glamour, and features colourful beaded and embellished costumes and bright, vibrant sets.
The international hit is choreographed by one of Bollywood’s acclaimed choreographers, Vaibhavi Merchant. The performance brings the hype and glitz of Bollywood Cinema culture to the stage, and features 40 performers direct from Film City Mumbai. The story fuses traditional values with the ever-popular Bollywood Cinema industry. The Merchants of Bollywoodhas proved to be a refreshing theatrical and musical hit on a global scale.
