Acclaimed Australian choreographer Graeme Murphy has designed a unique tale of jealously, intrigue and infidelity. Some of Australia’s most talented dancers and musicians will tell their amorous tale on an Art Nouveau-inspired stage, set in Vienna at the turn of the century.
The ballet is loosely based on the comic opera The Rose Cavalierand focuses on the love life of an actress known as The Marschallin. Although beautiful and accomplished, she fears that her lover will leave her for another woman, ensuing a dramatic performance. Australian composer Carl Vine has created an original score for
