An innovative approach to theatre, the World Theatre Festival at the Brisbane Powerhouse showcases experimental theatre on a global and local level. Acknowledging that some theatre experiences can separate the audience from the creative process, the World Theatre Festival aims to give audiences the unique opportunity to meet with performers, participate in workshops and join online discussion groups.
Some plays will push the boundaries, others will entice the audience to laugh out loud without inhibitions, and other shows will invite interesting and engaging conversations.
