This long-running, national awards program provides the car-buying public with a comparative guide to more than 300 volume selling models across 15 popular categories. A panel of 10 judges, representing all state auto clubs including the RACQ, put some 55 vehicles - the best of the best - through their paces at Anglesea in Victoria.

RACQ Motorfest 2011

Cars, food and family fun drew big crowds to RACQ MotorFest at Brisbane’s Eagle Farm Racecourse on Sunday July 17 for a celebration of the past, present and future of motoring. While the 800 display cars were the focus of the event, the crowd enjoyed the live entertainment, fresh food and market stalls.

Seven brands are represented among the 15 category winners of this year’s Australia’s Best Cars (ABC) awards, announced in Sydney on November 30.
Our gallery depicts the week of final testing at Anglesea in Victoria, where judges drove the finalist vehicles one last time and crunched the numbers yet again.
