Terms and Conditions
- This competition is a promotion run by The Road Ahead Publishing Co Pty Ltd ABN 72 009 716 465 (“Promoter”).
- Entries and information on prizes and how to enter form part of these terms and conditions (“Terms”). Entries not completed in accordance with these Terms are ineligible. Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
- The competition is open to residents of Queensland over the age of 18 years of age only.
- Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and related entities of the Promoter are ineligible to enter.
- The competition commences at 8.30am on Wednesday February 1, 2012 and closes at 5pm on Wednesday, March 14, 2012.
- The competition will be drawn at 10am on Thursday, March 15, 2012, at RACQ Head Office, 2649 Logan Road, Eight Mile Plains, Queensland.
- There will be one (1) prize winner in this competition that will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Entry is by subscribing to the Road Ahead Lifestyle motoring enews at www.roadahead.com.au/subscribe during the competition period.
- The prize winner will receive a RACQ motoring enthusiasts experience, including a half day road testing experience with RACQ’s two Australia’s Best Cars judges, sitting in on the complete testing process including track driving, being shown how the cars are evaluated against testing criteria and driving in different road conditions including freeway, country and city commuting; a one hour experience in the RACQ’s Mitsubishi iMiEV electric vehicle and $1500 to spend at Repco in the form of Repco gift cards.
- The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash and is subject to booking availability.
- The winner should be over 18 years, in possession of a valid Queensland Open licence and will need to arrange their own transport to Brisbane to take part in the road testing and iMiEV experiences. The Repco car product gift cards must be used by the expiry dates listed on the gift cards and Repco gift card terms and conditions apply.
- The winner will be notified on the phone number or email. Competition results will also be published on www.roadahead.com.au two weeks after the final draw. The Repco voucher prizes will be posted or couriered to the winner as appropriate within one month of the competition being drawn.
- If the competition winner is unable to be contacted within three (3) weeks of the draw a redraw will occur. In the event that a redraw is required it will be held at 9am on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at RACQ Head Office, 2649 Logan Road, Eight Mile Plains, Queensland and the redraw winner will be notified by mail or by telephone.
- All entries become the property of the Promoter. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
- The information that entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the competition, and to periodically keep entrants informed about the goods and services provided by the Promoter, related entities and its service providers. By entering this competition entrants consent to the use of their contact details for the purposes described in this clause. The Promoter may use or disclose entrant’s personal information to related entities or other appropriate third parties in accordance with its privacy policy available on its Internet site at www.racq.com.au/privacy.
- If for any reason this competition is not capable of being conducted by the Promoter as intended, whether because of computer virus, mobile phone failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter which in the Promoter’s opinion affects the administration of the competition, security, fairness or integrity, the Promoter may in its sole discretion, cancel, modify or suspend the competition, subject to the approval of the gaming authority in Queensland as may be required.
- The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage or for any personal injury sustained as a result of taking the prize[s] or entering into this competition. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability or any goods or services offered as prizes. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered to person or property by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter or its employees or agents, in connection with the arrangement for the supply, or the supply, of goods and services by any person to the prize winner and, where applicable, to any persons accompanying the prize winner.
