207 goes sporty

Category: Motoring

Peugeot has released a new special edition 5-door hatch – the 207 Sportium.

This follows recent price reductions across the 207 range and the introduction of standard electronic stability control in January.

The Sportium 5-door is priced from $21,990, placing it between the entry-level 207 XR 5-door manual at $19,990 and the range-topping XT 5-door at $23,990.

The 207 Sportium is available in the following Euro 5 emissions-compliant engine variants: 1.6-litre petrol manual, 1.6-litre petrol automatic and 1.6-litre HDi manual.

All three Sportium versions have 16-inch alloy wheels, sports bumpers, fog lamps, rear parking sensors, rear electric windows, leather steering wheel, tailored carpet mats, privacy glass, aluminium pedals, door sills and gear knob (manual) and body-coloured side mouldings.

The petrol manual is available for $21,990, the petrol automatic $23,990 and the HDi manual $25,190.

All prices are manufacturer’s list prices, and do not include on road costs.
