A fashion statement as well as a functional accessory – a watch can enhance an outfit, whilst performing the important function of telling the time.
Based in Switerland – one of the world’s international hubs for luxury-watch manufacturing – watch designer Arnaud Tellier has produced an interesting and scientific-based watch. Inspired by Arnaud’s background as an horologist (the study of time), the 2lmx watch draws on the science of watching making and the history of the craft. Hand-crafted over more than 1,000 hours of scrupulous labour, the watch is unique in both design and form. Part of a special series, each 2lmx is different from the other watches in the range – boasting slight differences in colour, jewels, components and design.
The time is displayed on six individual rollers (rather than a traditional round face), and the watch is manually wound with a generous power reserve.
Those fortunate to strap a 2lmx luxury timepiece on their wrist will be one of only five owners each year to purchase a watch from the limited-edition range, alongside three owners of special-order 2lmx watches.
