We often turn to the classics for inspiration and to remind ourselves of a time gone by.
The clever team at Impossible Project has taken this concept one step further by giving us the opportunity to pull out our old cameras from the past and use them to capture the present.
Impossible Project make film for classic Polaroid instant cameras, and they have just released their colour film. Many film experts doubted that they could pull it off, but they did, and what’s more, they managed to complete the new colour system in just one year: the PX 70 colour shade in a first flush edition. The film is compatible with Polaroid SX 70 cameras and a special film cartridge also allows usage in all 600 series cameras.
Digital isn’t necessarily the answer for everyone, and with their black-and-white and colour Polaroid film, Impossible Project is helping to keep the analogue dream alive.
