In the early days of photography, before the invention of sharp and crisp digital technology, film images captured subjects in a slightly whimsical and blurry focus.
Capturing the creative and old-school charm of film photography, the manual Lo-fi Micro Lens gives digital photos a creative and somewhat vintage appearance.
Designed for use on a micro 4/3 camera (a type of camera that fits interchangeable lenses), the Lo-fi Micro Lens offers a wide range of control – enabling amateur photographers to shoot images in a variety of styles. The lens can be attached to all Olympus and Panasonic micro 4/3 cameras (but not with the Sony NEX).
‘Lo-fi’ stands for low-fidelity, which refers to ‘low-tech’ and affordable lenses. The Lo-fi Micro Lens can capture manual-focus effects, including a bokeh technique that produces images with some parts in focus and other parts out of focus, and a vignetting technique, which produces an image that draws focus towards the centre of the shot.
