It is a waterproof, shock-proof, dust-proof, and cold-proof digital camera that can be submerged in up to five metres of water, dropped from a height of one metre, and used in temperatures as cold as -10°C.
The waterproof design allows for full underwater photos and video for up to two hours. On the camera side, the 12 megapixel W80 also impresses with a 5x zoom lens offering a focal range of 28–140mm with an expanded perspective that is ideal for landscape, group and more confined shots.
